Welcome to the Department of Architecture (DoA) at Aror University,
Sukkur.
The Department was initiated in 2022 as per the university’s mandate to flourish the
knowledge of the design and construction of sustainable buildings and the built environment.
While we are young, we take pride in our history and focus firmly on the future.
We are committed to cultivating architects who are not mere designers of buildings, but
thinkers, innovators and stewards of communities. Architecture here means responsibility —
to the people who inhabit the spaces we create, to the culture and heritage of Sindh and
Pakistan, and to the natural environment we share.
Our studio-based curriculum, guided by experienced faculty, challenges students to engage
deeply with real human needs, spatial logic, structural integrity, and environmental
responsiveness. We believe the best architecture emerges at the intersection of tradition
and innovation.
We invite passionate young minds to join our growing community of architects, to learn, to
create, and to shape a built environment worthy of our people and our time.
