Aror University Sukkur in collaboration with Bhittai Social Watch & Advocacy (BSWA) and Sindh Human Rights Commission (SHRC), hosted an enlightening academic dialogue on Women Peace & Security, Social Harmony, Democratic Culture, and Climate Justice.
The event was started with welcome note by Ms Uzma Khatoon, Students Counsellor, Mr Khadim Hussain Mirani (Executive Director, BSWA) introduced the project and dialogue objectives followed by a panel discussion featuring the following panelists:
– Ms Safia Bano (IOM Shelter Sector Sukkur)
– Prof. Dr Taj Muhammad Lashari (Academic Advisor, BSWA)
– Dr Sabab Ali Shah (Chairman, Environmental Sciences, Aror University)
– Mr Basit (Peace Ambassador)
– Ms Zoya & Mr Uzair (Students of Faculty of Heritage)
Dr Ali Raza Lashari, Assistant Professor (SALU) moderated the discussion.
Prof. Dr Zahid Hussain Khand, Vice Chancellor of Aror University, concluded the session by emphasizing the vital role of women in society and the importance of individual contributions.
