1st Industrial Advisory Board of Department of Civil Engineering was held on May 21, 2024. Chief Engineer Education & Works Engr. Khalil Ahmed Shaikh, Project Director RBOD-II Engr. Masood Ahmed Sehar, and XEN WAPDA Engr. Faisal Zardari were the industrial experts. The board was chaired by Program In-charge, Department of Civil Engineering Engr. Gulzar Hussain and was accompanied by Lecturer Engr. Saifal Hameed and Engr. Shuban Ali.
The purpose of this meeting was to foster a collaborative relationship between industry and academia, ensuring that the program and curricula are aligned with the needs of the industry. Along with that various other future trends and opportunities for students in the region and beyond were discussed including internships & learning opportunities.
